Just search the web, use the term 'white van speakers'. The scam usually involves two guys in a white van that looks like a company van. They approach men in parking lots, tell them that they just did some big audio install, and that there was a mistake made.

They have an extra set of speakers that were not on the paperwork, and they just want to make a couple of bucks. The boxes will almost always have some really high price printed on the cardboard, not like a sticker, that's usually a dead giveaway. It will list for like 2 grand so they seem like some high end stuff. They guys will ask for 3 or 4 hundred to make a quick sale. The speakers are always garbage made in the cheapest possible way.

In America you have to have a serial number on everything? And then i see it, page after page on the same scam, something needs to be done. Same thing just happened to me here in Tampa, Fl. 2 guys in a van approached me and tried to sell me some Olan Ross home theater system. It looked cheap and I'm into electronics so when I never heard of this brand I became skeptical. 1 guy does all the talking and he tries to talk fast. The problem was he was dealing with an Italian from Philadelphia so I talk just as fast.
