In the winter of 1981, after guitarist Tim Scott McConnell (Ledfoot) left the Rockats, the band (Smutty Smiff, Dibbs Preston, Barry Ryan and Lewis King) had to find a 5th member. Though we soon decided on Danny B. Harvey as the permanent replacement, we still had to wait for him to move from his home in LA to NYC where the band was based. Until his arrival, just in time for a New Year's Eve show at the Peppermint Lounge, we played a handful of shows as a four piece. This video is from one of those few shows. Taped at the London Victory Club in Philadelphia, PA, the show was televised on a local program called Gorilla Theater. The tape was generously provided by DC Larson.
